I saw a wonderful series, not all of it unfortunately, on PBS. Tavis Smiley was in the Ninth Ward for a week. I was so moved that when I was recently painting up in the Blue Ridge Mountains, what came out of me was the loss and the courage in New Orleans. Grant said he was going to call Rotary International to see just what they were doing. Rotary has changed the world in the area of polio and now malaria. Seems time to bring it on "home'.
